My beginnings:

My photographic beginnings could lie on that day in 1975 when returning from an introductory course to photography, I entrusted my film to the photographer at the corner .The latter systematically pulled out the view that followed the one I had retained. So I bought an enlarger and made my debut in a corner of the basement, stuck between a sink and a power outlet not really up to safety standards. I survived ! ... the photos were particularly bad but the fun was there. Any start is hard.

Some tracks :

Since then, I have made some progress but it seems obvious to me that self-satisfaction rarely leads to good results. To move forward, the permanent questioning is part of the game and ... pleasure.
I remain sensitive to all forms of contemporary arts permanently. I regularly visit local, regional or international exhibitions of artists or friends in the field of photography, of course, but also painting, sculpture and installations. It is an inexhaustible source of reflections on art.
I like to expand photography to the other ways to express themselves and like to situate myself in a "go between" that allows me to make more oriented shots. So some of my photos will make you think of a painting or others to a particular artist. Moreover, when the opportunity presents itself, I try to use my photos in a way different than the traditional framework to lead to an "installation"

A photographic practice round :

For me, the picture would not be without the important phase of conception that sometimes precedes, sometimes follows the shot.
Two approaches are available to me:
-on the one hand photography on trips, a practice which, once back home, allows the making of slideshows with sound (slide from a few years ago, currently replaced by digital photography and editing on software like PTE);
-on the other hand, the photography in B & W or color for a rather more visual approach. Indeed, the conceptual part before finalization is here very important It's where the phases of thinking, questioning, talking on the use of photography as a medium to go beyond the single photography, to try to tackle a theme or a broader issue.

Two types of steps come together, a more intuitive, more emotional, the other more conceptual or formal and abstract. The influence of specific to the slideshow sequencing remains clearly visible in my photographic work where I prefer to work on a series or multiple photo rather than on a single shot.

Exhibitions :

Who says photography, says communication and the logical outcome is an exhibition. It stems each time from a research around a topic and a desire to share around shooting. This confrontation is essential to maintain the motivation, find new ideas and feel the happiness of sharing these moments with an increasingly large audience.
